It is now common knowledge among wine lovers and foodies that there is something magical in the (good) marriage of wine and food. Although not an exact science – yet – there are some time-proven pairings as well as well established guidelines to help chefs and sommeliers navigate the sensitive waters of food and wine pairing, especially they venture into uncharted territories either with wine or with food. Here at the bistro in Pampanga’s Wine City, some of these facts and theories will be put to the test. And the judge and jury will be the guests.

On Saturday 25th May, 2024, the bistro of Wine City Philippines will host a private wine-and-food tasting event. Fifteen clients of this wine shop and bistro in Pampanga will be invited to attend, free of charge. Here they will relax and enjoy five flights of wine served with their respective food pairing. If the pairings are correct, the guests of this bistro in Pampanga will experience something magical, something that people in the wine and food industry refer to as the synergy of wine and food pairing.
